Treatment Information

Platelet Rich Plasma

This type of facial uses the healing power of your blood platelets and growth factors from your own blood to stimulate stem cell response. The stem cells then help the treated area to grow new collagen and blood vessels, repair and regenerate damaged skin, slow and even reverse the signs of ageing.

It is estimated that microneedling alone can stimulate collagen production by up to 200% but when you incorporate the use of PRP it is thought to increase collagen production by up to 1000%

You will be seen by a medical professional, trained in phlebotomy who will ensure safe and comfortable collection of your PRP.

Your PRP is said to contain 3-5 times more platelets, growth factors and active proteins for tissue and injury healing. It can be used for many more issues such as healing tendons, diabetic ulcers, ligament and joint damage and help to regrow muscle and bone. Using microneedling with PRP initiates stem cell responses in the treated area and over the coming weeks /months after the treatment the response recruits collagen producing cells, fibroblasts. These types of cells can replace tissue that has been damaged or lost through ageing, leaving your clients skin, younger, fresher and rejuvenated.

PRP can be used for

  • Reduce fine lines/wrinkles
  • Hair Restoration
  • Tighten/tone skin
  • Stimulate collagen production
  • Reduce dark circles under eyes
  • Crows feet reduction
  • Acne scarring
