WHAT IS ? BIO-REVITALIZATION?
Forget Bio-revitalization as you know it a new era of medical grade skin boosting is here and the results are outstanding! Bio-revitalization nourishes the skin and aids in the process of natural rejuvenation and cell stimulation. It contains hyaluronic acid in the form of sodium hyaluronate with potent mixes of amino acids. These amazing cocktails hydrate, plump, brighten and tighten by attracting moisture to the area, delivering key nutrients and stimulating collagen growth in the dermis.
Bio-revitalisers can also be used to compliment and enhance the results of other treatments, such as other dermal fillers, dermabrasion, botulinum toxin and chemical peels.
WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
Our medical serums can be used almost anywhere on the body to achieve that youthful glow of tightening and brightening the skin. Two of our serums can be used as Botox alternatives smoothing the skin and encouraging muscles to move less. Our serums can correct skin imperfections, such as stretch marks, acne scar and deeper scars along with moderate wrinkles whilst promoting skin health, hydration and collagen production for a prolonged improved complexion. They can help correct sun damage age spots or give an overall whitened glow. They can draw eye bag fluid away from the eye. The serums are most commonly used on the eyes, mouth, face, neck, hands, décolletage, underarms, abdomen, knees and inner thighs.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
By combining microneedling and meso therapy with our serums they reach the most accurate point in the dermis for them to create the biggest impact, and what an impact they have! The treatment encourages fibroblast production to form your own natural collagen. Meaning your results will get better as the weeks go by. Collagen is important as it bolsters the skin making it appear plumper, tighter and more youthful. The amazing potent hyaluronic acid attracts 1000 times its own weight in water, pulling moisture from the environment into your skin. As you age, fine lines and wrinkles become more prominent—especially with smoking and sun damage. The ingenious mix of collagen, hydration and amino acids create the perfect cocktail to help slow down the aging process.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Effects are individual and like most injectables will rely on lifestyle choices and metabolism. Depending on the treatment Three to Four initial visits are recommended to achieve the necessary level in the skin to see lasting results, however many people report seeing results after just one treatment: Whitening is subjective to how light you want your skin to be. After your initial visits it is recommended to visit for a top up treatment every 3-6 months or as you feel necessary to maintain the result.
IS THIS PRODUCT SAFE?
Medical Grade Serums and Bio-revitalisers are a very safe as most of their ingredients are formed from components naturally found in the body. However, with every treatment there is a risk and it is advised that you have your treatment carried out by a licensed medical professional.
Patients with bleeding disorders, known hypersensitivity to sodium hyaluronate, or any other components of this product are not encouraged to use this product. As well, it is not suitable for use in areas with skin irritations or silicone implants.
Bio-revitalization is not recommended for pregnant women and women who are breastfeeding.
SIDE EFFECTS
As with every treatment some side effects may occur when using skin bio-revitalisers or medical grade serums. When it comes to this innovative filler, side effects are very rare, and usually resolve themselves in just a few days as it components are naturally found in your body. We would ask you to please contact the clinic if you think you have any side effects. Below you can find some of the most common side effects known when using bio-revitalization or our medical serums:

If infection or hypersensitivity occurs, or if any of the common side effects do not resolve within 48 hours, the patient must immediately seek medical attention.
BEFORE YOUR BIO-REVITALIZATION / MEDICAL SERUM TREATMENT
- All make up will need to be removed prior to treatment, attend ‘fresh faced’ if possible. Contamination with makeup can cause infection.
- Taking the following within 72 hours of treatment may increase your risk of bruising – Alcohol, Aspirin, Ibuprofen, St. John’s Wort, Fish oils, Gingko Biloba, Vitamins C and E.
- Do cancel if you are at all unwell, even minor coughs and colds can increase your risk of post treatment complications.
- Treatment cannot be administered if there is an active skin infection, including acne or cold sores.
- Reschedule if you think you have or are developing a cold sore. Treatment around the mouth can trigger or spread cold sore infections. If you are prone to developing cold sores then it is important to inform your practitioner as they may wish to prescribe some prophylactic medication.
- Contact the clinic to discuss any illness or new medicines prior to attending.

We endeavour to assure you have an excellent experience from start to finish and this aftercare advice has been devised from the frequently asked Do`s and Don’t`s of post treatment. Please understand this advice is to ensure you achieve optimum results and by not following your aftercare advice your desired treatment effects may be affected and you may incur unwanted complications. Emergencies
Although emergencies involving bio-revitalization are rare all clients have access to our 24 hour phone number (07809902432) should an emergency arise. However, as explained to you if you experience any shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing, difficulty speaking, swallowing, swelling of the tongue, eyelids, lips, hoarseness of the voice, stomach pain, nausea or diarrhea you should ring 999 immediately do not wait.

Is there anything I should not do after bio-revitalization & medical serum treatment?
Bio-revitalization are a quick and safe procedure which has very little impact on usual activity on the day of injection. Please follow these suggestions to avoid excess bruising, swelling and infection.
- No touching or rubbing of the injected skin for 6 hours after treatment.
- No facials or massage for 10 days, advise your clinician of your injections.
- Avoid skin irritants such as acids, vitamin A, C or E, Gingko Biloba, Garlic, fish oils, St. Johns Wort for 72 hours. It would be best to cleanse with a non-perfumed, antibacterial face wash.
- No strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment.
- Avoid excess heat environments, hot showers, sunbathing, sauna, steam room etc for 14 days.
- Try not to lye on the injected areas for 24 -48 hours.
- Avoid headwear across any injection sites.
- Avoid alcohol, ibuprofen or medically necessary blood thinning medication (unless doctor advised) 72 hours before and after the treatment to prevent bruising.

How soon after bio-revitalization & medial serum can I go back to my normal exercise regime?
Normal daily activity can be resumed immediately following treatment. Light exercise can be performed after 48 hours but it is recommended that strenuous activities are avoided for 7 days, including yoga or any upside down routines.
After 24 hours you may perform light exercise such as:
- Walking
It is recommended that you wait 7days before attempting any strenuous exercise, including:
- Weight training
- Cross training
- Long distance running
- Yoga (positions where the body is inverted)

Are there any possible side effects to bio-revitalization & medical serums?
In most cases there will be no side effects to a treatment of bio-revitalization & medical serums. However, because everybody’s physiology is different, people can be affected in different ways. A small minority of people reported the following symptoms.
- Bruising / redness / rash / acne / pin pricks — For the majority of patients, the area of injection will appear no different. For a small minority, some minor affects may occur but will quickly subside, try arnica for bruising.
- Bumps / swelling — A few minutes after treatment small bumps may be visible on the skin. These will disappear within a few hours. Swelling may worsen over the next day and will take around two weeks to resolve, apply cold packs.
- Infection — Not following the above instructions in section 1. can lead to skin, muscle or blood infections. Some infections can leads to nodules under the skin.
- Immune response – (Rare) Even after years of having repeated bio-revitalization, your body may exhibit an immune response towards any foreign entity you have in place. This usually happens when you have been ill and the body has had an over stimulus of antibodies that then recognizes the bio-revitalization as a foreign body. This is managed with antibiotics.
- Vascular occlusion – (Very Rare) This happens when the bio-revitalization squeezes a vessel closed or when the bio-revitalization enters a vessel and stops the blood flow. This is fully reversable but is time sensitive as it can cause skin necrosis. It is usually not the fault of your injector and happens as we your injectors can not see below the surface of your skin. If you feel any areas of hot or cold, dusky or mottled skin, blisters appear have severe pain, visual disturbance or see any areas of discoloration (including whitening) on or around the area treated do not wait to contact the clinic. We will arrange to see you in person as quickly as possible.

How soon can I drink alcohol after bio-revitalization & medical serum treatment?
We advise no alcohol 48-72 hours before and after treatment. This is because alcohol can thin the blood much like an aspirin and result in bruising.

Am I allowed to touch/wash my face after having bio-revitalization & medical serums?
No. Your skin will need 72 hours to properly close the holes made by the injections or you risk causing infection. You can continue your normal skin care routine but no touching or rubbing of the injected area for 6 hours after treatment. No facials or massage for 10days. Avoid skin irritants such as acids, vitamin A, C or E, Gingko Biloba, Garlic, fish oils, St. Johns Wort for 72 hours. It would be best to cleanse with a non-perfumed, antibacterial face wash. Are bio-revitalization & medical serum injections long lasting?
Different brands of bio-revitalization have varying duration lengths. Also, different treatment areas can absorb filler faster if they are used more often by muscles. Although some people experience longer lasting results due to their metabolism, scientific evidence shows that most premium bio-revitalization should last between 3-6 months. This can be affected by your lifestyle choices (diet, smoking, exercise etc), muscle/skin integrity and rate of muscle use. The Sunekos and Jalupro ranges have been deemed as premium bio-revitalizers with excellent safety and longevity records which is why we use them in our clinic.

Can I keep having bio-revitalization & medical serums?
Yes. It is recommended not to exceed certain doses per area but you may return on average 2 weeks later should you require more to an area. Your practitioner reserves the right to decline treatment if they think it is not in your best interest, will cause an undesirable look or you have exceeded the safe limit of treatment. Once happy with your result you can return every 3+ months or as you feel to top up your enhancement.

What happens when bio-revitalization & medical serum wears off?
When your bio-revitalization is absorbed back into your body you will appear as you did before your treatment. Depending on your age and elasticity of the skin your skin may shrink back to its original form, we suggest the continued use of bio – revitalizers to prevent signs of aging.

Can I wear make-up after my bio-revitalization & medical serum treatment?
Yes but ideally, avoid make up for as long as possible to stop the risk of infection (24-48 hours). However, some clinics advise mineral make up can be applied 6 hours after bio-revitalization, but again, it is recommended that you do not apply too much pressure during these activities in order to ensure that the skin does not open and become infected. If you can… avoid makeup for 24-48 hours.

What if my bio-revitalization & medical serum results are not what I expected?
Final bio-revitalization results are usually visible around 2-3+ weeks as swelling needs to subside and the natural collagen begin to form. At this point you can book a review appointment to check technical and aesthetic results.

Can I fly directly after having bio-revitalization & medical serum?
Yes. Bio-revitalization treatments appear to not be affected by changes in altitude or cabin pressure so flying will have no adverse effects. But… please void booking any trips for 2 weeks to ensure availability for any possible averse affects and we recommend 4 weeks before any wedding etc to fully guarantee no bruising.

Can I sleep after bio-revitalization & medical serum treatment?
Bio-revitalization injections should have little impact on usual day-to-day activity and will not affect your sleeping patterns. Although, to allow the bio-revitalization to settle, you should avoid putting pressure on the injected area or laying on your side for around 24 – 48 hours, longer if possible.

How soon after bio-revitalization & medical serum can I have a facial?
To allow the bio-revitalization to settle in and begin working, it is recommended that you do not rub the treatment area for up to 10 days after the procedure. This includes the gentle rubbing associated with a facial treatment.

Can I move my muscles after the treatment?
Yes, after treatment you should continue to move your muscles as normal.

Description:
Jalupro is a sterile reabsorbable injectable solution which acts:
- as a tissue lubricant which can be used for minimizing the evidence of skin wrinkles o the face. acting as a filler.
- as adjuvant in the physical or chemical treatments such as peeling, laser therapy and dermabrasion.
Indications for use:
Jalupro is an implantable medical device, made in conformity with regulation 93/42/CEE MDD and is intended for the correction of defects in the following areas of the face: nose to labial creases, increase of the lips, crows feet, wrinkles at the sides of the lips, acne scars, glabella wrinkles, frontal wrinkles and creases of the cheek bone.
Contraindications:
This product has been clinically tested.
Ascertained hypersensitivity to the components.
Over dosage phenomena are not known.
Interactions with drugs and medical substances are not known. Local reactions can rarely occur due to hypersensitization phenomena which reveal themselves with edemas, heat and or itch sensations, the reactions resolve spontaneously very quickly (maximum two days); on the contrary infection cases, which are caused by the typology of treatment, would be extremely rare.
Incompatibility:
Although secondary effects are not known, in case of pregnancy and breast feeding, it is advisable to preform the application only in according to physicians advice.
Do not carry the implant in the presence of skin irritations.
Not to be used in
Individuals with a known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or lidocaine.
Patients with severe allergies manifested by a history of anaphylaxis or history or presence of multiple severe allergies. If you suspect anaphylaxis call 999 immediately DO NOT WAIT.
Warnings for the patient:
Reactions; all tests performed have proved the high tolerability of the product, however rare reactions of a local type may occur, in most delicate skin complexions, such as swelling and reddening, usually spontaneously resolving without treatment need.
Jalupro Side Effects:
Most side effects are mild in nature and short-lived, usually resolving in 7 days or less. The most common side effects include injections site reactions, such as:
- Redness
- Pain/tenderness
- Firmness
- Swelling
- Lumps/bumps
- Bruising
- Itching
- Discoloration
- Risk of infection
If you have an unordinary amount of pain, the skin around your filler site starts to go red/white/blue/black or has markings extending away from it you should contact your practitioner immediately or go to a+e if they are unreachable.
What is expected after the procedure?
Within the first 24 hours, avoid:
- strenuous exercise
- extensive sun or heat exposure
- alcoholic beverages
Exposure to any of the above may lead to temporary redness, swelling, and/or itching at the injection site. If swelling occurs, place an ice pack over the swollen area. Ask the physician how long to wait until make-up can be re-applied after the procedure.

DESCRIPTION
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) ¡s a polysaccharide naturally present ¡n the human body whose primary
function is maintaining the correct tissue hydration, thanks to its intrinsic capacity to bind large
amounts of water.
Hyaluronic acid sodium salt is composed of repeated disaccharide units of N-acetylglucosamine and
sodium glucuronate chains, and is a fundamental component of the extracellular matrix in a majority
of tissues including the skin.
PROFHILO® constitutes a buffered physiological solution of high molecular weight (H-HA) and low
molecular weight (L-HA) HA. The HA, at both high and low molecular weights used in the device, is
obtained through a biofermentation process without chemical modification and therefore, resulting
in excellent tolerability.
Furthermore, due to a specific and patented treatment of the solution (NAHYCO Hybrid Technology),
the H-HA and L-HA chains, contained in PROFHILO®, interact with each other providing unique
rheological characteristics and thus allowing the administration of higher concentrations of HA
without increasing the viscosity.
The formulation of HA with different molecular weights contained in PROFHILO® ¡s based on
Hydrolift® Action. This innovative approach ¡s aimed at counteracting the physiological reduction of
HA in the skin, restoring hydration, elasticity and skin tone, by associating, in a synergic way, deep
hydration with the mechanical action of lifting the skin.
The other components of the product are: sodium chloride, sodium phosphate and water for
Injectable preparations.
INDICATIONS
PROFHILO® acting through a corrective/filling action of natural and induced cutaneous depressions,
intervenes:
• in the physiological process of skin aging, the effects of which include reduced skin hydration, the
alteration of elastic fibers and collagen of the dermis, with loss of turgor and skin tone;
• in the dermal tissue repair process, in cases of scars resulting from superficial Cutaneous trauma
(e.g. acne and chicken pox scars).
The viscoelastic and hydrating properties of HA, combined with the ability to maintain adequate
levels of HA ¡n the cutaneous tissues, rehydrate the skin and create optimal conditions for
preventing and counteracting the skin aging process white favoring tissue remodeling with a
subsequent corrective effect on photo and chrono aging damage and any possible scarring of the
skin.
HA also plays a role inside the extracellular matrix, creating the physiological conditions for the
proliferation, migration and organization of the dermal cellular component. Moreover, the
intradermal administration of PROFHILO® and its action at the dermal layer rather than the
epidermal layer, allows an optimal quantity of HA to be brought directly to the tissue being treated,
in order to counteract the cytotoxic action of free radicals on the fibroblasts and on the adipose
compartments below, ensuring the efficacy of preventive and corrective esthetic medicine
treatments.
The HA used in PROFHILO® is produced through the biosynthesis of a natural substrate without
further chemical modification. Therefore, PROFHILO® has excellent biocompatibility and its use In
the dermis allows integration with endogenous HA which has been reduced and modified due to the
physiological aging process of the skin or following superficial cutaneous trauma.
In addition, in vitro studies have been performed to identify incompatibilities and / or interactions
between PROFHILO® and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). The results obtained demonstrate that the PRP
does not change the rheological behavior of sodium hyaluronate.
PROFHILO® is indicated for treatment of the face and body. However, it is particularly Indicated
for treatment of the malar-zygomatic and submalar areas.
An initial cycle of two treatment sessions at 30 day intervals is recommended, followed if necessary
by maintenance treatments every 2 months. However, it is suggested to evaluate the specific
PROFHILO® protocol according to the patients degree of aging.
INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER DRUGS
To date there are no known interactions between PROFHILO® and other drugs.
SIDEE-FFECTS
PROFHILO® infiltration outside the dermal layer may cause undesired local effects.
During the use of PROFHILO®, symptoms such as pain, the sensation of heat, reddening or swelling
may appear at the injection site. These secondary emergences can be relieved by applying ice to the
treated area. They generally disappear in a short period of time. Doctors must ensure that patients
notify them of any undesired effects which occur after the treatment.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
PROFHILO® must not be used in concurrence with treatments such as laser resurfacing and medium deep skin-peeling.
